Diablo Cody Says Jennifer’s Body 2 Will Dig Into Jennifer’s Past

Diablo Cody has teased that Jennifer’s Body 2 will dig deeper into why Megan Fox’s succubus is so sympathetic. Speaking in a podcast interview, the Oscar-winning writer said the sequel is coming up soon and will explore what the character has endured since her sacrifice in the 2009 horror comedy.

Cody described Jennifer as isolated, lonely and insecure, pointing to the quieter moments when the character is drained and fragile rather than at her most powerful. She credited Fox with capturing both sides of the role.
