In a recent interview with LaResolana, Namor actor Tenoch Huerta revealed an important detail about Hulk’s next MCU chapter, Marvel’s upcoming Avengers: Doomsday. According to him:
“There are like twenty-something characters involved in the story… It’s more condensed since they have to give space to all the characters and the different universes.”
This means Avengers: Doomsday will give each hero a smaller role—shaping it more as a setup film than a complete arc for any one character, including Hulk.

Why This Matters for Hulk’s Storyline
Marvel’s Phase 6 has three massive films lined up:
- Spider-Man: Brand New Day — July 31, 2026
- Avengers: Doomsday — December 18, 2026
- Avengers: Secret Wars — December 17, 2027
With limited space in Doomsday, Hulk’s role could be an introduction or tease. The real development may come later in Spider-Man: Brand New Day and finally explode in Secret Wars.
A Pattern We’ve Seen Before

Marvel has used this formula before:
- Infinity War introduced multiple arcs but left character resolutions for Endgame.
- Civil War reshaped the MCU while still leaving individual stories for solo films.
So, Hulk’s next MCU chapter might not be fully told in Doomsday—but instead stretched across these upcoming blockbusters.
What Fans Can Expect
- Hulk could appear in Spider-Man: Brand New Day to set up his larger role.
- Avengers: Doomsday may position him on the battlefield but without deep focus.
- Avengers: Secret Wars could finally explore Hulk’s dual identity and bring his long-awaited transformation full circle.
With Huerta’s comments and Marvel’s history of ensemble storytelling, Hulk’s biggest MCU payoff might be just around the corner.
