Marvel Studios is gearing up for an explosive Phase Six lineup, with three major titles on the horizon:

1. Spider-Man: Brand New Day — July 31, 2026

Directed by Destin Daniel Cretton (known for Shang-Chi), the fourth MCU Spider-Man film stars Tom Holland returning as Peter Parker, joined by Zendaya, Jon Bernthal, Mark Ruffalo, Sadie Sink, and others

This installment promises fresh energy—Holland described the new suit as feeling different this time, and behind-the-scenes footage shows dramatic filming in Glasgow, including explosive chases and fan interactions.

2. Avengers: Doomsday — December 18, 2026

Formerly known as The Kang Dynasty, this film reunites the Russo brothers (directors of Infinity War and Endgame) and brings a massive ensemble cast. Highlights include Robert Downey Jr. returning as Doctor Doom, alongside Thor, Captain America, Loki, and a large contingent of X-Men characters like Professor X and Magneto.

Originally slated for May, the release has been postponed to December to allow for more production time and to capitalize on the holiday box office window.

3. Avengers: Secret Wars — December 17, 2027

Closing out Phase Six and the Multiverse Saga, Secret Wars returns with the Russo brothers at the helm, and Robert Downey Jr. is confirmed to appear again.

This cinematic event is positioned as the ultimate culmination of the Multiverse storyline, reshaping the MCU’s future direction.

Why These Films Matter

Marvel’s upcoming slate exemplifies its commitment to bold, interconnected storytelling. Spider-Man: Brand New Day reignites grounded, relatable heroism through its street-level focus. Then, the Avengers sequels escalate to cosmic stakes—with Doomsday introducing legendary villains and legacy characters, and Secret Wars promising a sweeping series finale to conclude one of MCU’s most ambitious arcs.
